Welcome to Tantasqua Junior High School! We are proud to be a school where students are challenged to grow academically, socially and emotionally in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment. Our dedicated faculty and staff are committed to helping every student reach their full potential while fostering curiosity, responsibility, respect and kindness.
 
At Tantasqua Junior High School, we believe that academic success goes hand in hand with strong character. We are committed to instilling civility in our students by promoting empathy, respectful communication, personal responsibility and positive relationships. Together with our families, we strive to prepare students not only for future academic success but also to become thoughtful and engaged members of their communities.

Open House 2026

We are excited to welcome all of our new students and their families to our Open House! This is for all incoming 7th graders and any 8th grade students new to TRJHS.



Come hear a quick presentation from school administration, explore the school, find your classrooms and get ready for a great school year. This is a wonderful opportunity to become familiar with the school and ask any questions before the first day. The presentation will start at 9:30am.



***Note the change as this is the first year with a presentation. It is not mandatory but we will attempt to preemptively answer most questions students/families have about the upcoming school year.

Welcome to our school!
